This course is for beginners wanting to try out Krav Maga for the first time or for newer students who want some extra details and training time. We've even had course participants come back and take the course for a second and third time. The first class will be on Tuesday, October 8th and the classes will be every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5:45 - 6:30pm through Oct 24th.
In one of only 6 stops in the US, KMG Founder, Eyal Yanilov, will come to Herndon on August 24th to present a special seminar hosted by First Defense Krav Maga. From Robbery to Hostage Rescue Celebrating his 50th year of practicing and teaching Krav Maga, Master Eyal is on his global tour, and will be giving the first set of seminars in the USA this August.
In this highly interactive 4 hour class, we will cover many aspects of practical self-defense including boundary setting, conflict communication, and physical self-defense skills. For the physical sections we will use principle based skills that we can utilize quickly & effectively in a number of situations including against different grabs and holds, weapon threats, and fighting from the ground.
This March FDKM is hosting 2 Introduction to Krav Maga 4-Week Courses. The first course is for beginner adults looking to try out Krav Maga for the first time. The Introduction Course has been a staple of FDKM for the last 13 years & it only improves with age! The objective of this course is to introduce the participants to the theories, techniques and tactics of the Krav Maga system.

3-class trials are now available for the FDKM Youth Program
From now until the end of the year, we are opening up our Youth Program to all 8-13 year olds. Class times are Tuesday and Thursday at 5pm.
AUGUST YOUTH FUNDAMENTALS The FDKM Youth Fundamentals Course is taking a short summer break, but we'll back in August! The Youth Fundamentals Course introduces students to important self-defense concepts, techniques and tactics. Completion of this 4-week (8-session) course is the first step to joining the full Youth Krav Maga program at FDKM. The next Course begins on Tuesday, August 8. TRAIN WITH EYAL YANILOV OF KMG
Eyal Yanilov started his Krav Maga training in 1974 and spent the next 20+ years working closely with the founder of Krav Maga, Imi Lichtenfeld. He is the head of Krav Maga Global (and Nick's instructor). This is Eyal's first trip to the States (and to FDKM) in over 4 years.
