Krav Maga (a Hebrew term that translates to "contact combat") is a practical and tactical system that teaches how to prevent, deal with and overcome all kinds of  threats and violent attacks. An ever-evolving system, Krav Maga excels the subjects of self-defense, self-protection, fighting and combat skills (as well as skills to defend others).

Krav Maga was developed in Israel by Imi Lichtenfeld (Sde-Or) for the newly formed Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).  In order to meet the most rigorous real-world demands, Imi made sure Krav Maga utilized natural and intuitive movements, was easy to learn and remember, and was simple enough to be used effectively under stressful conditions. Adapted for civilian, law enforcement, and military sectors, Krav Maga continues to be refined under the guidance of Imi's successor, Eyal Yanilov, and his team at Krav Maga Global (KMG).

What do we train on:

  • Prevention, avoidance, escape & evasion
  • Attacks and counterattacks
  • Defending against all types of unarmed attacks
  • Releases from all types of grabs & holds
  • Defending against threats and attacks with all kinds of weapons
  • Developing the ability to function effectively under stressful conditions
