Hybrid Introduction Course
Frequently Asked Questions

What is a “hybrid course”?
The Hybrid Introduction Course is the updated (and upgraded) version of our Introduction to Krav Maga Course. A hybrid online course substitutes online learning components for a significant percentage of in-person classroom learning.

Do I need any special equipment?
No. There is no special equipment needed for online courses. If you have a heavy bag at home, that could be helpful in practicing striking and working on your conditioning, but it's not necessary. If you plan to train in-person, either individually with an instructor or with a group, you will want to consider purchasing groin protection and some protection for your hands - handwraps or grappling gloves.

Do I have to train in person?
The short answer is no. While we do think there is benefit in coming to the studio and working live with the instructor and other students, you are under no obligation to attend live classes. We understand that in the current situation, many are still feeling unsure about in-person activities or want to take more time. That is completely fine and that is why we are offering the options for both online & in-person learning.

Do I have to do the check-ins?
While we highly recommend the check-ins in order to help you progress through the material, answer questions, and give you training tips, but it’s is 100% your choice to utilize them. We want to provide as much support throughout your enrollment in the course, so whether you choose to use them weekly, monthly, or not at all is up to you.

What online classes can I attend?
You can attend any of the Zoom or live-streaming “FUNDAMENTALS” classes. You can find our most up-to-date class schedule on our website.

How long to do I have access to the course?
You will have access to the Introduction to Krav Maga Course, all its components, and access to its benefits for 6 months.

What happens after I complete the course?
There is no obligation to continue beyond the course if you have satisfied your curiosity about Krav Maga. However, if you want additional training beyond the course, there are a number of options.

  1. You can work with any of our instructors in private lessons (virtual or in-person)
  2. You can join as a regular member – there are options for both virtual and in-person and with varying time-frames. Please contact us for a complete list of current membership options.
